Lythous™ is Human Infrastructure™: the people, places and follow-through that form around each person you serve, so that nobody has to work out alone where to turn. Delivered in India by HealthcareSMC-Geneura LLP.Operated to one standard: CARE™

The person who never asks

The help already exists. The connection does not.

A university, a company or a hospital already has people whose job is to help. Each usually runs as its own silo, and there is no single human point of contact. The person who is struggling meets a list, not a person.

  1. 01They do not know there is a problemNobody puts their hand up to say they are struggling. Often a person does not know that what they are carrying has a name, or that anything can be done.
  2. 02It is already too muchA struggling person has to work out for themselves who to go to.
  3. 03They are handed a listNames, departments and phone numbers. Unfamiliar places, and no idea which one is right.
  4. 04Nobody is expecting themThe silos do not know they are coming, or why.
  5. 05So they go nowhereInaction is the default, and the most common outcome.

Unseen.Unheard.Disconnected.Unsupported.

Why now

Indian institutions must now do more than appoint a counsellor.

Fifteen guidelines, binding on every school, college and university in India until Parliament legislates. They ask for counsellors, referral links, written escalation, staff training twice a year, sessions for parents, and a yearly report to the regulator. The University Grants Commission followed with its own policy.

All educational institutions shall establish written protocols for immediate referral to mental health services, local hospitals, and suicide prevention helplines. Supreme Court of India, 25 July 2025Guideline V of fifteen. Sukdeb Saha v. State of Andhra Pradesh.
Failure to take timely or adequate action in such cases, especially where such neglect contributes to a student’s self-harm or suicide, shall be treated as institutional culpability. Guideline VIIIOn how an institution handles complaints of harassment, ragging, bullying and assault.

We show you what a deployment covers. Your legal team decides what it satisfies. This is not legal advice, and anyone who promises you compliance is overselling.

The Key · OneSee the whole human.™

What becomes possible when we understand more of the person?

Instead of beginning with “which of our services do you need?”, we begin by asking:

A person is not a case, a file or a service line. Their life is one piece. So the help should be too.

Lythous™ is built around the whole person: their physical health, emotional wellbeing, family, relationships, circumstances, nutrition, sleep, movement, genetics, biometrics, community resources and future potential.

The Key · TwoBuild around the human.™

The network does not move a person through a predetermined sequence.

We do not organise the person around the services available. We organise the appropriate people, services and resources around the person.

The right people, services and resources form around the person. Not the other way round.

Our operating system

CARE™ is the standard every node is held to.

ConnectedTo a person first, and then to whatever they actually need. Nobody is handed a list.
AcknowledgedSomebody knows they came, and remembers when they come back. Nothing has to be repeated.
RespectedNobody asks what is wrong with them. Nothing is recorded or passed on without them knowing.
EmpoweredThey leave knowing what happens next, and who is doing it. So do you, in the figures.

Four words, everywhere. They are the words on the door of every node, the test for every step below, and the measure behind every figure you are shown. You will see them tagged through the rest of this page.

A human-to-human network

Lythous™ is not a directory, a referral line, or a collection of disconnects. It is a network of people who know how to receive a person, introduce them to one another, and remain responsible for the relationship.

Care moves. The relationship remains.A person may be introduced to many people. The one who received them stays responsible.
Technology remembers the journey. People carry the relationship.Records keep continuity so that nobody has to repeat their story. People do the rest.
What a deployment includes

A room, the people in it, and everything that forms around a person who walks in.

A Lythous™ node is a staffed room on your site. Anyone you are responsible for can walk in without an appointment and without telling anyone why. Behind the room stand trained people, a written protocol for the person at risk, and a network of independent professionals. All of it held to CARE™.

AcknowledgedAmbassadors

The first point of human contact. Trained to notice the person who is always alone, or who stopped turning up, and to walk with them rather than point at a door. Drawn from your own students, staff and community.

ConnectedListeners

The first human a person reaches by phone, text or WhatsApp, at any hour. A person, not a menu. Somebody who is frightened at three in the morning should reach a human being.

RespectedThe network

Independent, credentialled professionals across India, each practising in their own right. A node connects a person to them and stays with the person until they have arrived. It does not deliver care itself.

Inside the node.

No desk between two people, and nothing that makes anyone feel they are being examined.

Daylight through sheer curtains onto low seating and a sunrise mural.
Daylight and low seating instead of office furniture.
Seating arranged in a circle around a low table.
A circle around a low table, not across a desk.

Five spaces, and a door anyone can walk through.

Select a space to see what it is for. Nobody is sent to one. The person chooses.

The plan shows the idea, not an exact layout. Each node is fitted to the space the institution provides.

Five steps, and somebody responsible for every one.

What happens after a person makes contact. The sequence is the same everywhere; what forms around the person is not.

  1. 01
    AcknowledgedRecognition

The person reaches out, or an Ambassador notices them. Either way, it starts with a person, not a form.

  2. 02
    ConnectedEngagement

They talk to a Listener, on their terms. In the room, or by phone, text or WhatsApp.

  3. 03
    RespectedNavigation

Together they work out what would actually help, and who is the right resource, starting with the ones the institution already has.

  4. 04
    ConnectedEscalation

If necessary, the person is connected with the right person or resource. A written protocol names who acts for anyone at risk, in what order, and how fast.

  5. 05
    EmpoweredFollow-through

We do not just show the next door. We stay with the person until they get through it, and somebody checks back afterwards.

Somebody real, at the other end.

Eleven independent qualified professionals across India, each with checked credentials and a separate practice. A node connects people to them. It does not employ them to deliver care, and it does not deliver care itself.

What a deployment covers, against what the guidelines ask for.

A map, line by line, with the source for every claim. Not a compliance assessment, and not legal advice.

  • A written wellbeing policy, published and reviewed each yearGuideline IRespectedA deployment supplies the policy document and the annual review cycle.
  • Formal referral linkages with external professionalsGuideline IIConnectedThe network of eleven independent professionals, each credentialled and practising in their own right, under a formal arrangement.
  • Consistent, informal and confidential support for small groups of studentsGuideline IIIAcknowledgedAmbassadors and Listeners. The informal layer is written into the guideline itself.
  • Written protocols for immediate referral, prominently displayedGuideline VConnectedThe escalation protocol: who acts, in what order, how fast. Posted in the node and known to every Ambassador.
  • All staff trained twice a year by certified professionalsGuideline VIEmpoweredAmbassador and staff training, run on a twice-yearly cycle with the network’s professionals.
  • Regular sensitisation sessions for parents and guardiansGuideline IXConnectedSessions for families, from the same room and the same people.
  • Anonymised records and an annual report to the regulatorGuideline XEmpoweredFigures with no names attached: how many came, how many were connected onward, how many arrived. Once a year, a report you can put in front of a regulator.

Nobody who uses a node becomes a patient. When someone needs professional care, they are connected to an independent qualified professional, and from that point the relationship is with them. Whether a deployment satisfies any guideline is a judgement for your own counsel.

Every student arrives with more than an academic life. They bring their health, their family, their money worries, their hopes. The first Lythous™ node in Uttar Pradesh is where we start building a campus that can see more of that, and can build around it.

How ready is your campus to reach the person who never asks?

Fifteen questions, three minutes. You get a readiness score, the gaps we found, and a short summary you can forward internally. No obligation, and no sales call unless you ask for one.

Your answers stay in this browser. Nothing is recorded about anybody who does not send it.

A node opensA year later
The Key · ThreeBecome.™

What is different a year after a node opens.

A Lythous™ node does not change who your people are. It helps reveal who they can become, and it shows you, without names, whether that is happening.

AcknowledgedPeople come forward who never would have.

Not the students who already book appointments, but the ones who were never going to.

ConnectedThe services you already pay for get used, and used earlier.

A node does not add another service. It makes the ones you have easier to reach, while it is still a conversation.

EmpoweredYou can see whether it is working.

Figures with no names attached: how many came, how many were connected onward, how many arrived. Once a year, a report for your regulator that never carries anybody’s name.

Ready when you are.

Take the readiness assessment below, or start a conversation. Either way, you do not need to have worked anything out first.

Lythous™ is not a place. It is a destination.

We see you.We connect you.We stay with you.You become.

Readiness assessment

Start a conversation

Whichever is easiest. A person answers, and can bring in the right people for an institutional conversation.

Or take the readiness assessment first and bring the result.
